Electrical safety and food contact requirements on electronic and electrical products are the major concerns for all global buyers and suppliers. SGS would like to hold a seminar to help our clients having a comprehensive understanding on various standards, comply with the necessaries of requirements and adapt to the changing markets.
In the seminar, we are going to introduce the new standard and clarify the difference between existing and new versions of standards of IEC60335-1 Ed.5.0 / EN60335-1:2012, which are released and shall be commonly applied on electrical safety evaluation for household appliances. Cases studies like kitchen and water boiling appliances will be included. For food grade, we will focus on illustrating the latest regulations and update on EU food grade requirements, US food grade requirement of US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the MERCOSUR food grade requirements which influence the products exporting to South America countries.
