SGS成功通過由香港認可處 (HKAS) 進行的品質管理系統 (QMS) 和環境管理系統 (EMS) 認可資格的審核
Operated under the auspices of the Hong Kong Accreditation Service (HKAS), the Hong Kong Certification Body Accreditation Scheme (HKCAS) offers accreditation to certification bodies for quality management system (QMS) certification, environmental management system (EMS) certification and product certification. SGS proudly announces the successful completion of HKAS EMS extension and QMS surveillance assessment in March and April 2007 and without non-conformities identified by HKCAS. It reassures SGS international recognition and leading position in the quality management systems certification market.
HKCAS accreditation for QMS and EMS is available in 23 areas. Accreditation is only granted to Certification bodies that meet the criteria of HKAS including ISO/IEC Guide 62: 1996 (for QMS certification) and ISO/IEC Guide 66: 1996 (for EMS certification). After receiving 19 more EAC codes in the HKAS EMS accreditation, SGS covers the full scope of HKAS accreditation capability, and is identical to our existing scopes of QMS. Detailed information could also be found in HKAS webpage http://www.itc.gov.hk/en/quality/hkas/doc/hkcas/003.pdf.
