SGS HK, as the first accredited greenhouse gas (GHG) Verification Body under the Hong Kong Accreditation Service’s (HKAS) Certification Body Accreditation Scheme (HKCAS), recently presented the first ISO 14064-1:2018 statement in Hong Kong to Gammon Construction Limited.
ISO 14064 provides industry and government with a set of tools to develop programs aimed at reducing GHG emissions. ISO 14064-1:2018 verification can help organisations fulfil local and international requirements on sustainability reporting and support tendering and carbon reductions while at the same time as demonstrate environmental credentials.

Becoming the first company in Hong Kong to have its GHG emissions inventory verified against the latest version of the ISO 14064-1 standard, Gammon said:
