Singapore Safety Regulation and Safety Mark Update
Singapore Spring released the revision of the CPS registration plan on 15 Jan 2018. It is re-classified the control goods and division of the risk level, in order the conformity assessment approach have been updated. International Enterprise (IE) Singapore and SPRING Singapore have merged to form Enterprise Singapore, effective from 1 Apr, 2018. The SAFETY Mark has been updated in view of the formation of Enterprise Singapore.
There is change in Pantone (from Pantone 287C blue to Pantone 032C red) and slight adjustment of font and layout of ‘SAFETY MARK’ wordings.

According to the requirement of the latest regulation, control goods have been summarized into 33 categories instead of 45 categories, including below:
- Hair dryer fall in the hair care appliance, added hair curler, hair straightener
- Decorative lighting fixture added LED lighting
- Switches and socket outlet with weather-proof cover added into the list
