1. The standard of minimum wages has been raised in four provinces

2. Gansu issued the Measure for Evaluating Compliance and Integrity of Employers’ Labor Protection
In order to enhance the pertinence and efficiency of labor and social security supervision, Gansu province carries out classified supervision of enterprises, urges enterprises to abide by laws and regulations of labor and social security, and formulates the measures for Evaluating Compliance and Integrity of Employers’ Labor Protection. The "Measures" stipulates that the grade of enterprise’s labour security was divided into A-class, B-class and C-class. The enterprise was rated as C-grade if they using child labor and forced labor.
3. Henan promulgated the first provincial-level vocational training regulations
Henan Province promulgated the first provincial-level vocational training regulations. The "Regulations" is the first local laws, which was implemented from January 1, 2018. The "Regulations" clearly define the rights and obligations of governments, enterprises, vocational colleges (technical institutions), vocational training institutions and labors during the occupational training.
4. Special Regulation on Labour Protection of Female Employees is implemented in Shaanxi Province
Since March 1, the Special Regulation on Labour Protection of Female Employees has come into effect in Shaanxi Province, which provided special protection for female employees during menstruation period, gestational period, perinatal period and lactation period. It's worth mentioning that "getting married" has been added into the regulations and stipulated that female workers from getting married or bearing a child shall not be restricted or disguise restricted; It can’t fire female workers or unilaterally annual their labor contracts on the pretext of marriage, pregnancy, maternity leave or baby nursing or shall not limit the promotion and position appraisal.
5. Guangdong issued "the Guidelines on the Promotion of Women's Equal Employment"
Recently, Human Resources and Social Security Department of Guangdong Province, the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, the provincial Party committee, the provincial women's Federation jointly issued "the Guidelines on the Promotion of Women's Equal Employment ", proposed specific requirements for related work. It is clearly pointed out that all departments of human resources and social security at all levels should put the situation of equal employment between men and women in the enterprise into Enterprise Labor Security Credit System.
