EU RoHS (The Directive 2011/65/EU on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment) had entered into force since 2011 which covers all electrical and electronic (E&E) products.

Meanwhile, China RoHS (the Administrative Measures for the Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substance in Electrical and Electronic Products) had also entered into force in July last year and implemented in a two-step approach to cover all E&E Products.  At the current stage, all regulated E&E products shall provide information on the restricted substances by labelling and declaration table. Manufacturers have to check the restricted substances content in their electrical and electronic products.
