The Business Social Compliance Initiative published its 2010 annual report, Tackling the Challenges of Responsible Sourcing, recently. SGS being one of the accredited company for BSCI audits, makes their audit capacity considerable.

China is a noteworthy country which BSCI focuses on. According to their annual report, over 7,000 BSCI audits were performed worldwide in 2010 of which 71% were performed in China. Among those 5,000 China BSCI audits, nearly 30% were conducted by SGS and indeed our feasible BSCI audit in China can reach 4,000. Actually, SGS worldwide BSCI auditors make up about 25% of the total BSCI auditors globally.
