Introduction: Cloud-based services are indispensable to most Internet of Everything (IOE). Businesses are running their enterprise applications such as ERP and email system in the cloud that are driving tremendous growth and demand in cloud services, especially under the new trend of “Bring Your Own Device” (BYOD). While tons of businesses data are storing in the cloud, thus, trust in cloud will be the toughest corner in the enterprises’ perspective.

SGS is amazed at its quick application and penetration of cloud service but also concerns about the improper application of cloud service and its security issues. Many cases are telling us that companies underestimated the seriousness of hacking incidents and data leaking. No matter you like or dislike, cloud service is invading your enterprises with its security concerns. Although many cloud service providers and data centers have been certified with ISO 27001 and SSAE16 (SAS70), those certifications still tell nothing about how the service providers assurance their cloud-based service against associated risks. The next step is asking what you can do and how you can act!

SGS has invited Mr. Dennis Lee, Chairperson of Cloud Computing Special Interest Group (CCSIG) in Hong Kong Computing Society (HKCS) as our speaker, cooperating with SGS to provide a picture of cloud security standard to protect your corporate from those hidden security risks. Apply the seminar to know more. The seats are granted on a first-come-first-served basis.
