Public health safety and epidemic prevention control has become one of the most concerned topics in the world. For example, shopping malls, hotels, offices, schools, etc. are all confined spaces with dense crowds and are most likely to spread the virus. According to the US Department of Labor research, 52% of indoor air quality problems are caused by insufficient ventilation. Ventilation in public places mainly depends on the ventilation system in the building and the central air-conditioning air filter unit. Sufficient fresh air volume and the filtering capacity of the air-conditioning system can ensure that harmful substances are effectively processed, ensuring the safety and comfort of indoor air quality in the building. _x00D_

Therefore, a place with good hygiene performance for shopping, business activities, and tourism has become the first consideration for everyone.

SGS central air conditioning and indoor environment testing program can help detect harmful substances in the air, ensure the safety and comfort of indoor air quality in buildings, and ensure that the site has the required sanitary control strategies and actions, thereby improving the public's air and environmental hygiene on the site Confidence.

SGS service scope:

Indoor Air Quality (Hygiene)

  • Airborne Bacteria
  • Respirable Suspended Particulates (RSP)
  • Carbon Dioxide (CO2)

In air-conditioned buildings, harmful bacteria which are then dispersed through the ventilation process. Hence, Airborne particles under IAQ management, CO2 could be microbial particulates concentration is commonly adopted as a surrogate in measuring air freshness.

Disinfectant IAQ Monitoring

  • Formaldehyde (HCHO)
  • Ozone (O3)
  • Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC)

Ingredient of cleaning agent, deodorant, insecticide, disinfection agent and equipment like UV, may contribute air pollutants impact on IAQ management. Close monitoring could support establishing an effective and healthy hygiene protocol.

Hygiene Test for Public Facilities

  • Total Bacteria Count (Swab test)
  • Yeast and Mould (Swab test)

To evaluating bacteria level on facilities surface at public place like escalator handrail, elevator panel, children playground etc. Result for comparison between “Before” and “After” routine cleaning or when new sanitary protocol adopted.
