SGS is Accredited by SCC for NRCAN Battery Charger Certification Services
On 31st October 2018, the Amendment 14 of the Canada Energy Efficiency Regulations was published on Part II of the Canadian Gazette. In response to the regulatory changes and reduce the impact on the manufacturers, the new regulation came into force on 1st May, 2019. In the regulation, a new requirement about battery chargers was added, and will be implemented on 13th June 2019 where battery chargers manufactured on or after 13th June 2019 should comply to the latest requirements..
