Format Update for SGS-EET Reports: QR Code Added
SGS-RSTS-EET has been using the digital signature on test reports for easing the identification on the authenticity for years. Our clients could also check their reports online through SGS-RSTS DATABASE platform (website: http://rsts.cn.sgs.com/en/cheres_en.asp).
With increasing use of portable electrical devices (smart phone and tablet) for reading reports, SGS Hong Kong, Electrical & Electronics Department (EET) will place QR Codes on all test reports starting August 2018. The QR Code will hyperlink to the electronic report which is on SGS-RSTS-EET DATABASE, in which reports could be sent out conveniently, identify the authenticity and no-needed extra key-in, free setup of pdf reader. This also solves foreign buyers’ problem on typing Chinese while checking online. Meanwhile, SGS still retains the original digital signature function. It means that no matter what device you use for reading reports, you could manage your reports easily without obstruction.
