In recent years, increasing government agencies, international organizations, non-government organizations and multinational corporations start to concern about Corporate Social Responsibility. Hence, the enterprises are supposed to periodically follow up latest information on top of the legislation, such as current season’s updates: The European Union will conduct due diligence on Conflict Minerals; German Female Executives Proportion Bill has been implemeting well and etc.
1.The European Union will conduct due diligence on Conflict Minerals
On 22 Nov, the European Union agreed on one draft provision about conflict minerals, the provision aims to prevent trading with the conflict district to finance the armed groupand human rights violations. According to the informal agreement reached by the European parliament, ministers and the European Commission, except the smallest importer, all of the importers for Tin, Tungster, Tantalum, gold and its minerals in European Union must do due diligence on their suppliers. Large manufacturers should also public the monitor plan on raw materials. The agreement defined track the responsibility on upstream manufacture link, including minimng and smleting. According to the agreement, the enterprise should be in the way of writing to the administrative departments of member states to confirm they are responsible improters. The European commission will public the list of these enterprises, the related department will do investigation on these enterprises to ensure these improtes meet the obligations on doing due diligence.

3.German Female Executives Proportion Bill has been implemeting well.
German "Business Daily" reported on December 28, 2016 that the Federal Minister of family Skei Weiss G said that German Female Executives Proportion Bill which showed the equality between men and women has been implemeting well since May 2015. The proportion of women in the board of supervisors of enterprises increased from 23.3% to 27.5% in 2016. The proportion of female members was expected to reach 30% in the board of supervisors of 150 German large enterprises by January 2017. The positions which cannot reach the proportion requirement will remain vacant. This bill is only applied to German listed companies at present.
4. The biggest carbon capture program in the world will be launch in United States
According to US Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers reported on 17 Jan,2017, the biggiest carbon capture program "Petra Nova" will be officially launched, which will be make US$1 billion investment, pumping 140tons of carbon dioxide to nearest oil field from the coal electricity plant and help oil comes out the ground.
