Minimum wage is always one of the prevailing topics. Since October, 2015, minimum wages standard has been raised in 7 provinces and cities. In addition, there are updates on New Drafts of Environmental Protection Taxes, Catalogue on Occupational Hazard factors 2015 and etc.
1. The minimum wage standard has been raised in seven provinces
Since October, 2015, the minimum wage standard has been successively raised in Heilongjiang, Zhejiang, Guizhou, Jiangxi, Anhui, Ningxia and Jilin. After adjustment, Ningxia has the second highest monthly minimum wage in West of China. For more information, please visit SGS Minimum Wages Map.
2. Measures for the administration of food business license were conducted on 1st, Oct, 2015.
Measures for the administration of food business license, approved by National Food and Drug Bureau on boarding meeting, was conducted on 1st, Oct, 2015. According to The Measures, in P.R.C, the parties who conducted food sales and services shall get permission legally.
3. Act on environmental tax will be deliberated within the year, air and other 3 kinds of pollution will meet tens of billions of tax
First half of next year, draft environmental tax is expected to submit to Standing Committee of the National People's Congress for deliberation; it means tens of billions of environmental tax will be collected. The draft environmental tax may state the object of taxation would include air pollutant, water pollutant, solid waste, and noise pollution, basis of taxation will keep in line with current sewage charges. Double taxation will be implemented if it is excessive discharge.
4. The revised Law of Air Pollution Prevention and Control will be implemented from 1st January, 2016
Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law of P.R.C were passed on 16th conference of 12th Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and will be implemented from 1st January 2016.
5. Catalogue on Occupational Hazard factors 2015 was officially released.
Recently, 4 National bureaus released National Health Disease Control NO.92 paper and announced Catalogue on Occupational Hazard factors 2015. The occupational hazard factors rose from 133 to current 454. Technically, as long as employers got involved with those referred factors, it is necessary to conduct relative measures.
