Minimum wage is always one of the prevailing topics. Since July, 2015, minimum wages standard has been raised in 7 provinces and cities. In addition, there are updates on eight regulations on occupational disease prevention, the Law of Food Safety, the Ministry of Public Security fire department Abolish the partial fire control registered items and etc.
1. The minimum wage standard has been raised in seven provinces
Since July, 2015, the minimum wage standard has been successively raised in Sichuan, Inner Mongolia, Henan, Fujian, Yunnan and Hubei, which lead to the monthly minimum wages exceed RMB 1500 in the first time. For more information, please visit SGS Minimum Wages Map.
2. “Eight regulations on occupational disease prevention” has been implemented from 24 Mar, 2015
“Eight regulations on occupational disease prevention” was conducted as NO.76 rule by National Security Supervision and Management Beaura on 24th, Mar. The “ 8 Regulations” , including “ 8 must, 8 prohibition”, defines requirements of employers’ on occupational diseases in terms of responsibility, working site, protection utilities, warning notice, regular assessment, training, health custody.
3. Safety Committee of the State Council made “Interim regulations on the “black list” for the bad record of safety production in the production and business unit”
The regulation aims to promote the safety product integrity system in accordance with the law, and put forward 12 provisions in terms of the main criterion, implementation of the principle, the status, basic procedure and responsible for a breakdown, management and disciplinary measures and etc. The establishment of "Black list” will cause the enterprise with dishonest behaviour or bad records of production safety to get limited everywhere.
4. The revised Law of Food Safety will be implemented from 1 October, 2015
The Food Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China has been passed on 14th conference of 12th Standing Committee of the National People Congress on 24 Apr, 2015 and will be implemented from 1 October, 2015. There are nearly 30 new regulations, which will be a milestone in the history of food safety supervision and the law system.
5. The Ministry of Public Security fire department launches eight reforms: Abolish partial registered fire control items
The Ministry of Public Security fire department launches “Eight measures about deepen reform to serve social growth and social progress” on 12th August, 2015, and the social units and the masses can benefits the convenience of building fire protection design and completion acceptance and etc. The eight measures are: 1) abolish partial registered items of fire control; 2) reduce approval conditions; 3) Combine partial approval items of fire control 4) delegate authorities’ partial power of fire safety control; 5) simplify examination and approval procedures of fire control; 6) provide technical guidance services; 7) Separate fire control occupational skill testing and training; 8) provide social fire safety training services.
6. The annual report of social insurance development in China was issued by Human Resources Department of Social Security for the first time
The Human Resources Department of Social Security held a press conference about annual report of social insurance development (2014) in China. It is the first time to issue the annual report about the status of social insurance development, including basic pension insurance, basic medical insurance, industrial injury insurance, unemployment insurance, maternity insurance, social insurance fund operating conditions, institutional building and management services, and social insurance and social insurance important documents directory and etc.
