As the raising awareness of labor rights in society and increasing corporate investment in risk prevention, the transparency and security of supply chain is becoming a hot topic worldwide both in political and business arenas. Largest trading countries, such as U.S, issued related regulations to strengthen the monitor and control of business behavior.

September 1, 2010: California Transparency in Supply Chain Act (SB657) requires that retailers and manufacturers engaged in business in California should report their efforts to eliminate  the slavery and human trafficking in their supply chains.

January 25, 2012: “The global supply system that supports this trade is essential to the United States’ economy and security and is a critical global asset,” Obama said in his introduction to the National Strategy for Global Supply Chain Security.
