SGS will Deliver Joint AATCC and ASTM International Training Programs in 2010
IntroductionAATCC will introduce a new joint AATCC & ASTM International Training Program beginning in January 2010.This joint program will include test methods from AATCC and ASTM. SGS Group has signed a collaboration agreement with AATCC and has been authorized to delivery this training in 9 locations around the world. The locations include Bangladesh, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Shanghai & Qingdao in China, Hong Kong, Macau, India, Pakistan, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.
Program SummaryThis training program will focus on the most used AATCC and ASTM Test Methods. It has been developed to fulfill the needs of those who work directly and indirectly with all facets of textile testing. Methods include physical, colorfastness tests and appearance evaluation. The program will provide a fundamental education of the proper techniques for conducting the methods and evaluations. Training includes classroom lectures and practical applications.
Who Should Participate?This program is intended for engineers, technicians, quality control personnel, inspectors, auditors, merchandisers, designers, and sales & marketing personnel, who are employed by Laboratories (Government and Independent), Apparel & Textile Product Manufacturers, Trading and Merchandising Companies, Dyeing, Printing and Finishing Mills, Agents and Retailers. The course would also be interesting to anyone else involved directly with testing fabrics and garments, as well as those that review the results of those tests.
