Government Officials Visit SGS Hong Kong Again
With a succession of notable government officials visiting earlier this year, SGS Hong Kong was again honored by the visit of the official delegation of the Hong Kong Council for Testing and Certification (HKCTC) on November 26, 2009. The group was led by Janet Wong, Commissioner for Innovation & Technology, alongside Prof. Ching Pak Chung, Chairman for HKCTC, Terence Chan, Executive Administrator for Hong Kong Accreditation Services and a host of HKCTC council members. They visited the SGS premises for the first time since the Council’s establishment in September 2009.
Executive Director of SGS Hong Kong Spencer Yeung and Council Members of HKCTC welcomed the move as a significant step in bridging the shared goals of both the government and the testing and certification industry.

The delegation visited the SGS, Food Lab, Life Science Lab, Textiles Lab,R&D Lab, Toy Lab and Chemical Lab after which they proceeded to a photo shooting session.
