International Standard of Cosmetics Microbial Testing
Free of microbial contamination is one of the basic safety requirements for cosmetic products. Recall cases due to microbial contamination are frequently observed from the EU RAPEX or US FDA.
In order to safeguard your products, there are different methods for analysis of microbial contamination, such as USP, Eu Pharmacopeia, PCPC (formerly named as CTFA) and COLIPA etc.
