In Hong Kong, the Pesticide Residues in Food Regulation (Cap. 132CM) will come into operation on 1 August 2014 after the two-year grace period. Do you know what is it and how to verify the compliance of your products? For other food safety concerns such as allergens (e.g. milk, peanut, etc.) and genetically modified food, are there any regulations or guidance to control them? In this seminar, we are going to elaborate the new food safety regulation and the relevant testing methodology. In addition, it is our honor to invite the expert of Food Safety and Technology Research Centre, Hong Kong Polytechnic University to introduce how catering industry manipulates certification system in promoting the management level to fulfill regulatory needs and clients’ expectation.
