With the publication of the Implementation Rules for Electronic Information Products’ Pollution Control Voluntary Certification (CNCA-RoHS-0101: 2011), the 1st batch product catalog for the certification and the announcement of the 1st batch of certification bodies and test labs, the Electronic Information Products’ Pollution Control Voluntary Certification (so called Voluntary China RoHS Certification, VCRC) is formally implemented now. Many leading enterprises have already applied the voluntary certification for their products designated for the China market.

According the certification rules, the certification must be applied to the authorized certification bodies. In the 1st batch list, there are 3 certification bodies of VCRC approved by CNCA. China General Certification Center (CGC) is one of certification bodies, and undertook the VCRC kick-off meeting hosted by CNCA and MIIT on July 10 2012.

SGS especially invited CGC, to have a presentation on the latest hot topics in China, including the relationship between CN RoHS Voluntary Certification scheme and China RoHS, ways to align with the scheme etc. In the seminar, a comprehensive analysis and strategic suggestions will be provided.
