Morocco Requires Certificate of Conformity for Clothing Fabrics

The list of products requiring a CoC for importation to Morocco has been revised. The regulation is already in force but importers of clothing fabrics can still bring goods into the country without a CoC until May 7 (date of arrival of the goods in Morocco), 2022, but the requirements must be fully met afterwards.
US EPA Proposes to Revise Formaldehyde Standards for Composite Wood

The US EPA has issued a proposed rule to revise its formaldehyde standards for composite wood under TSCA to meet modern-day requirements and to further align with California. Comments are accepted until April 28, 2022.
Switzerland Revises Chemical Risk Reduction Ordinance

Switzerland strengthens its ORRChem by implementing provisions from EU REACH and the POP Recast Regulation, as well as new requirements for PFHxS, its salts and PFHxS-related substances. These will be implemented in phases, starting April 1, 2022.
US EPA Further Extends Compliance Date for PIP (3:1)

The US EPA has extended the compliance date for the prohibition of PIP (3:1) and products or articles containing PIP (3:1), as well as business record requirements for certain economic operators. The new compliance date will become effective on October 31, 2024.

ECHA Consults Over One Substance as SVHC
